These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a binding legal agreement between you and Vedic Terminal ("Vedic Terminal", "we", "us", or "our"), governing your access to and use of Trade Chakra (vedicterminal.com), including its web terminal, REST APIs, Model Context Protocol (POST /mcp) endpoints, embeddable widgets, and push notifications. By accessing or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Trade Chakra computes mathematical sidereal planetary longitudes using the Swiss Ephemeris (pyswisseph, Lahiri Ayanamsa) and maps them onto the classical 9×9 Sarvatobhadra Chakra (SBC) lattice. All outputs—including session posture labels (GO, CAUTION, AVOID), composite scores, astronomical signal indicators, intraday Hora timelines, Vedha ray projections, and sector/ticker resonance lists—are deterministic astronomical calculations provided solely for educational, historical, and analytical research. They do not take into account your personal financial situation, risk tolerance, or investment objectives, and must never be construed as a solicitation, recommendation, or endorsement to buy, sell, or hold any security, index, option, futures contract, or commodity.
Trading equities, futures, options, derivatives, and commodities involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every person. You can lose some or all of your invested capital. Traditional Vedic astrological timing models (Vyapara Jyotish) and historical ephemeris correlations are unproven as predictors of financial market prices; past or astronomical alignment does not guarantee future performance. You are solely and exclusively responsible for evaluating the merits and risks of any trade you place and for consulting a qualified, licensed financial professional before making investment decisions.
Core web terminal views and public API/MCP reads are available free of charge. Paid Pro Trader Passes ($29/month or $199/year in USD via Stripe; ₹1,499/month or ₹9,999/year in INR via UPI/Razorpay) and Institutional API Desk plans ($99/month or ₹8,499/month) are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual cycle. You may cancel your subscription at any time with one click or by emailing support@vedicterminal.com; cancellation stops all future recurring renewals while keeping your Pro access active through the end of the current paid billing period.
7-Day First-Purchase Refund Guarantee: If you experience a technical issue or are unsatisfied with your first Pro subscription charge, you may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of your initial purchase by contacting support@vedicterminal.com. Refunds requested after 7 days are considered only for duplicate charges or verified service failures. Approved refunds are credited back to the original payment method. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable statutory consumer refund right under the laws of your country of residence.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use Trade Chakra. You agree not to use the platform or its API/MCP endpoints to violate any applicable law, probe or attack infrastructure, bypass rate limits, or misrepresent Trade Chakra's astronomical outputs as licensed investment advice to third parties. All interface designs, software code, compiled datasets, and Trade Chakra / Vedic Terminal branding remain the exclusive intellectual property of Vedic Terminal.
THE SERVICE, EPHEMERIS CALCULATIONS, API/MCP RESPONSES, AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED STRICTLY ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR UNINTERRUPTED AVAILABILITY.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL VEDIC TERMINAL, TRADE CHAKRA, OR THEIR DEVELOPERS, LICENSORS, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY TRADING LOSSES, LOST CAPITAL, LOST PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, OR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR ACCESS TO, USE OF, OR RELIANCE ON TRADE CHAKRA, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
AGGREGATE LIABILITY CAP: TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VEDIC TERMINAL'S TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL SUBSCRIPTION FEES ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU TO VEDIC TERMINAL FOR TRADE CHAKRA IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY, OR (B) USD $0.00 IF YOU USED ONLY THE FREE SERVICE. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES OR LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE EXCLUDED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Vedic Terminal and Trade Chakra from and against any and all third-party claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your trading decisions, your breach of these Terms, or your unauthorized redistribution of the service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, any dispute arising out of these Terms shall be resolved solely on an individual basis and not as a class, collective, consolidated, or representative action.
These Terms are governed by applicable United States law, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Before filing any formal legal claim, you agree to send a written notice describing the issue to support@vedicterminal.com and allow thirty (30) days for good-faith informal resolution. If you are a consumer resident outside the United States, nothing in this section deprives you of mandatory consumer-protection rights under the laws of your country of residence.
